Emirati musicians are central to this vision. A national orchestra must reflect the identity of the country it represents, and that requires sustained investment in local talent.
A Structured Annual Programme for Emirati Musicians
Tashyeed is derived from the Arabic word تشييد, meaning "to build" or "to elevate" — reflecting the programme's focus on developing and strengthening Emirati musical talent.

Delivered part-time over a structured annual cycle, combining academic learning with practical training.

Participants follow a structured weekly schedule of approximately 10 to 12 hours, balancing individual practice with group learning and ensemble work.
A defining part of the programme is its integration with the UAE National Orchestra. Participants are exposed to rehearsal processes, performance dynamics, and the discipline required within a professional ensemble.
