ABOUT THE UAENO

Under the auspices of the Government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the UAE National Orchestra (UEANO) has been created recently to strengthen the country�s national identity, promote the values of tolerance, peace and coexistence as well as to foster international cross-cultural dialogue.

An innovative Arabic-Western orchestra, the UAENO will perform both Arabic and Western repertoires at the highest standards. In doing so, it will develop a unique musical sound and identity, blending national heritage and contemporary creation.

As such, the UAENO will contribute to enhance the position of the country as an international attractive cultural hub for creativity while improving quality of life at the national level, for instance through its educational activities.
