Whether you are attending your very first orchestral performance or are a lifelong lover of music, the UAE National Orchestra welcomes you.
Our concerts are designed to bring people together through the shared language of music. Across every performance, audiences will experience a dialogue between cultures, traditions, and musical worlds, where Arabic and Western instruments come together to create something truly unique.
To help everyone enjoy the performance, we kindly ask guests to observe a few simple courtesies during the concert:
Arrive & Settle
Please arrive early to allow sufficient time for ticket scanning, seating, and to settle comfortably before the performance begins. Once the music starts, late entry may be restricted until a suitable pause in the programme.
Silence Your Devices
Please switch off or silence all mobile phones, smart watches, and electronic devices before the performance begins. The glow of a screen or the sound of a notification can be distracting to both performers and fellow audience members.
Listen in Quiet
Music often includes moments of great delicacy and quiet expression. To preserve the experience for everyone, we ask that guests refrain from talking during the performance and minimise any unnecessary noise whenever possible.
When to Applaud
Applause is a wonderful way to celebrate the performers and share your appreciation. If you are unfamiliar with concert conventions, there is no need to worry. Simply follow the audience or wait until the conductor turns to face the hall, which is traditionally the signal that a piece has concluded.
No Audio or Video Recording
Out of respect for the performers, audience members, and copyright regulations, photography, video recording, and audio recording during the performance are not permitted unless otherwise stated.
Be Considerate
The concert hall is a place for discovery, reflection, and connection. We encourage guests to be considerate of those around them and to help create a welcoming environment for audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
Most Importantly, Enjoy the Music
There is no right or wrong way to experience an orchestra. Whether you find yourself captivated by a melody, moved by a soloist, or simply enjoying the atmosphere, we invite you to immerse yourself in the moment and make the experience your own.
Thank you for joining us. We look forward to sharing the music with you.
