COMPOSED IN THE EMIRATES

Where Emirati music meets orchestral imagination.

Every nation has a sound that tells its story. Composed in UAE celebrates the pioneers whose music shaped the UAE’s cultural identity, and the new generation of composers who are carrying that legacy into the future.

At the heart of the concert are two iconic composers, Eid Al Faraj and Ibrahim Jumaa, whose songs captured the UAE’s early spirit of pride, poetry and possibility. Their works, once performed on intimate stages and airwaves, are now reimagined in grand orchestral form – transformed for full orchestra and choir while keeping the warmth and emotional power of their original voice.

The music of Eid Al Faraj reflects the heart of the people, with national music such as Emirati Sabah Al Khair and Ref Ya Alam. The second part honours Ibrahim Jumaa, whose compositions blend classical Arabic form with modern orchestral colour in works such as Ya Masafer Elehom and La men Shaf Wala men Dara.

Through new symphonic arrangements, these melodies become more than memories — they evolve into a living orchestral language that celebrates both tradition and innovation. Composed in UAE is a testament to the creativity that defines the UAE’s cultural journey: rooted in heritage, shaped by imagination, and written for the world to hear.
